What's happening...The Flying GrandpasThe Tattoo is pleased to announce that the Flying Grandpas will be participating in the 2012 Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo. The Flying Grandpas joined the Tattoo for their first time in 1989.They have been invited back over the years by popular demand. All of the performers from the Flying Grandpas are active serving Police Officers in Hamburg, and participate in the troupe for fun. The Flying Granpas love coming to the Tattoo In halifax, for many of them, it is the highlight of all of their performances. One thing they marveled about when they came to halifax, was that cars actually stop when pedestrians begin to cross the road. They will perform daily at the Tattoo performances, July 1-8, as well as participating in free noon-time events held around Halifax, and in outlying communities. The dates and locations of these events will be announced at a later date. |
