May 20, 2009, Halifax, NS: The Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo is encouraging all audience members to wear red for the performance on Friday July 3rd in support of the troops in Afghanistan.

Over the last few years the Tattoo has asked the audience to wear red to the Friday shows, and each successive year the numbers have increased. The Tattoo is seen by many who have either just returned from, or are about to be deployed to, Afghanistan and this gesture of support is very important to them.

Veterans are also encouraged to wear their medals.
