The best soldiers from The Drill Team of the Sixth Company from the Honorguard of the Department of Defence in Germany have been selected to participate in the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo.

The soldiers will perform drills at the Nova Scotia Tattoo in front of an annual viewing audience of 60, 000. Not only will the Team be showcasing their skills, they will also be presenting a piece of their history. Each soldier will be holding a K98k, an old rifle used during the First and the Second World War.

Members of the honorguard have been serving in Sieberg, near Cologne since the first of this year. The chosen soldiers are volunteering their time to attend the Tattoo from July 1 to 8.
