German Band Joins in the Celebrations

Marinemusikkorps Ostsee is making its first trip in nearly 30 years to Halifax to help the Canadian Navy celebrate its 100^th Anniversary.

Known for its diverse repertoire around the world, the Germany Navy Baltic Band will have 60 of its members entertaining the audience with a unique compilation of sea songs. The band makes its home in Kiel and proudly represents the German Navy as the “ambassadors in blue,” like the famous German ship, Gorch Fock.
