Talentholdet is contagious with its joy and energy in a tremendous show, based on the world-renowned Danish tradition for gymnastics. Talentholdet offers excellent entertainment with their shows being a well stirred blend of classical gymnastics, apparatus gymnastics, contemporary dance, rapid mat vaults and high breakneck trampoline vaults.

Talentholdet rehearses in KoldingHallerne where a new build gymnastics arena has been erected. The team consists of 32 handpicked gymnasts and is a part of the Danish gymnastics club, KIF Gymnastik, located in Kolding, Denmark. Talentholdet gymnasts range in age from 10 to 21 years, and they train 2-3 times a week in the gym. In addition to gym practice, they also have a programme of strength and flexibility exercises to be carried out at home in order to keep in shape for shows as well as week-end training.

Talentholdet is often invited to do an inspirational show at local gymnastics clubs’ shows, but also at jubilees, conferences, trade fairs and large sports events. Talentholdet is a beloved guest with its knock-off effect deriving from the energy, joy and smiles exposed by the team.

Several times a year Talentholdet packs up its suitcases and equipment to go abroad and mesmerize international audiences. Recently, the team has participated in horse shows and huge sports events in Germany. In 2007 and 2008 the team has been part of the entertainment package at a Turkish 5-star holiday resort. During the fall of 2009 Talentholdet participated in the Malta Millitary Tattoo, and in 2009 & 10 at the Hamburg Polizei Show. The team returns by popular demand to this year’s Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo following their amazing debut in 2008.

Workshops will take the format of an open gymnastic session with leading international performers and coaches

Workshops are participatory though observers with a particular interest in gymnastics and gymnastic technique are also welcome

Participants should be dressed in / bring suitable gym attire

Workshops are open to all. Participants may be divided into groups dependent upon levels of experience / proficiency

All workshop participants will be supplied with a voucher entitling them to a discount on a full price Category A or B ticket for the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo
